Disegno publishes print titles four times a year.
Disegno, The Journal of Design, is devoted to long-form writing and photography around design. It covers all design fields, as well as the social forces that shape, and are shaped by, the discipline. Disegno is devoted to writing and photography that highlights the political, social, environmental and industrial impact of design. It is published in spring and autumn.
Design Reviewed is a title that highlights long-form reviews, exploring the interaction between design and its users. The reviews range across different design disciplines, and provides a space for experiential writing around design. It is published in summer and winter.
Disegno regularly commissions articles and photography projects and pays for all original published work. If you would like to submit an idea, please send a detailed pitch to oli[at]disegnojournal.com.
